One of the first places to start an SEO campaign is to check rank in Google for the keywords that you are targeting, especially if your website has been established for a while. You may find a pleasant surprise or an unpleasant surprise but at least you know where you stand before going any further with the SEO project.
So what is the best to way to check rank in google for your keywords? One way to do it is manually by entering your keywords and then paging through Google until you find your website. This can take hours of tedious work and is not recommended unless you have a lot of time and a lot of patience.

In our opinion, knowing how you rank for your targeted keywords is a cornerstone of optimizing your website. All of your daily SEO focus should be knowing where you rank and doing everything possible to improve those rankings. It really is simple to understand – without knowing how you currently rank, how can you build an SEO strategy to improve your rank?
With that said, since being able to check rank in google is so important, we believe that a more powerful and robust solution should be considered. These free products – while nice utilities that give you a quick glimpse of how you rank – do not offer the functionality that is required to really manage your SEO rankings.

That is the information you get at a glimpse. Then the real analysis begins as you can get graphical histories for the targeted keyword on detailed data such as:
- the ranking position for the specific keyword
- the backlinks to the ranking page
- the page rank of the ranking page
- the actual data for each of the rankings listed above
